We have been watching and waiting for the National Maternity Review to bring together some exciting new ideas for the future of maternity services. This review was set up partly as a response to the care failings identified at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
We are always keen to improve and innovate through our maternity services, and so we have been engaging and supporting change as this review continues gathering evidence for change.
An online survey has just been launched as another way in which you can have your say and feed into the Maternity Review. This survey is completely anonymous and open to anyone who is interested in maternity services, including mums, dads, families and friends.
We have been encouraging all of our students and staff to come forward with their ideas for a brighter future in maternity services. Have you had your say?
Why not try to attend one of the review's drop in centres or one of their forthcoming events.
Everyone has something to share in making this review a reality. Why not contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions, comments or suggestions you might have.
Our leadership students turn visions into practice every day, we are sure that their contributions to this review will make a difference for all mothers and babies using our maternity services in the UK.
