Learning Lessons From The #NHS Change Story At The #SHCR

The School for Health & Care Radicals is run by @NHSIQ: supporting people in health & care to develop skills & communities for change http:/ #SHCR...

They invite everyone who is interested in positive NHS change to join in their free online programme… We are always keen to learn and collaborate… and so we signed up… and encouraged our students to do the same!

In a nutshell: The 2016 term of the School for Health and Care Radicals is a free five week virtual learning programme for change activists in health and social care.

Sessions include:

- BEING A HEALTH & CARE RADICAL: CHANGE STARTS WITH ME

- FROM ME TO WE: CREATING CONNECTIONS AND BUILDING COMMUNITIES

- ROLLING WITH RESISTANCE

- MAKING CHANGE HAPPEN

- MOVING BEYOND THE EDGE

We are part way through this collaborative programme now, and we have been really engaged by all involved with the #shcr, especially @helenbevan & @School4Radicals. The tweet chats we have been involved with have put us in touch with change agents from around the world, and enlightened us to a new platform with which we can share our learning with others.

We are very proud of our altstrat community, and were thrilled to be mentioned as one of the key communities involved with #SHCR.

We know that resistance to change means trouble for the NHS, and so every day we empower our students to be brave, have the courage to build their own self efficacy in the face of adversity and develop them into resilient leaders.

We cannot wait to meet more of you in the next session...See you in class!
